As I said before the boat trip here was hideous a small little rocky boat! We find a nice guest house directly opposite the dock which is handy! We then decided to hire bikes again and cycle round the island. I'm gettin used to this cycling malakey!
This is the Island people don't really seem to stop at! It's only had electricity for two years and the internet is extortionate but as the 'BIBLE' (Lonely Planet) says this place feels like it has retained itself! As we cycle through the Island kids and adults wave and shout hello to us! It's an awesome experience!
We stop off for a drink during the ride on a floating restuarant! Great views of the Mekong!
There really isn't a lot to do here but relax! The original plan was to head to the next Island and then the next but after the horrific boat journey i didnt feel safe doing another one for 1 hour 30 mins so we decided to head to Cambodia instead the next day! So i only have to do a short 5 mins journey in one of those boats....very relieved!
