Luang Prabang and the birth of MEKONG MOONFACE!

Luang Prabang was a really pretty place!Even with the many white faces around i think Moonface couldnt really moan and he was very excited to see the Mekong! Therefore he shall now be called Mekong Moonface hehe! We had a couple of really lazy days here just looking around the various temples and doing a bit of shopping for presents to send back home.

Everything here shuts at 11:30 pm which keeps the centre feeling like Laos and not some hot place for westerners to come and drink lots of beer Laos. There was a Tottenham game on so of course we found a bar and watched it...we met an english couple, a guy from liverpool and a very strange dutch boy so we all decided to get a tuktuk to the bowling alley the only place you can drink past 11:30. Bowling was fun...i played a game and came second out of four people! best yet! Not a lot really happened here but it was a nice place to kick back and relax!
